On 12 March 2017 the Full Moon moves near the fixed star Denebola in the Celestial Mansion of Uttara Phalguni (Vedic). Holi - the festival of color and love is celebrated during the Full Moon in March.

The Equinox occurs near this full moon and therefore it is a celebration of:
-light over darkness and of knowledge over ignorance.
-good over evil: Vishnu, God of Preservation conquered the demoness Holika.
-love over lust: the divine love of Krishna and Radna.

Holika commemorates Vishnu reincarnating as Krishna, who played jokes on children by squirting them with colorful water.

People sing and dance and throw colorful paints and powders at each other to celebrate the joy of friendship and love. This also stimulates creativeness and growth. The 'Holika' bonfire and candles burn away evil, lust, anger, delusion, hatred, pride and prejudice.

20 March is the Vernal (Spring) Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. This happens when the sun crosses the plane of the equator, making day and night equal in length.

Today we experience the yin and yang energy vibration as there is a balance between: day and night, light and darkness, male and female, white and black, etc. 'Equinox' is derived from Latin, meaning 'equal night'. We are also reminded to find balance in our own lives.

The point of the Northward Equinox , currently lies at 6º Pisces (sidereal) and 0º Aries (tropical). It is the point at which the sun's ecliptic intersects the celestial equator.

The Vernal Equinox can be viewed as a turning point. In the Northern Hemisphere this is a turning point from dark to light, and in the Southern Hemisphere from light to dark. The Southern Hemisphere does not experience the same severe winters as the northern hemisphere and thus we keep our celebrations the same as the northern hemisphere. That is: Easter, Eostara. Easter, Eostara (Ostara) and Shivaratri are celebrated with the movement of the moon. Shivaratri is celebrated on the new moon before the Vernal Equinox. Easter, Pascha and Eostara are celebrated near the Full Moon (Holi) in Virgo (Holy Virgin). The colors are white and blue and the number is 3 (holy trinity). During the Equinoxes, fasting should be observed, to ensure future prosperity. It is also a time to bring music, dancing and flowers into your house.

Navratri is observed by Hindus during the two Equinoxes. This entails 9 nights of dancing for the triple goddess (Durga (warrior) / Luxmi (luck) / Sarasvati (knowledge).

This new moon, falls under the happy feet of Pegasus, the winged divine white stallion. Pegasus lies in the star sign constellation of Pisces.

This new moon brings happy surprises, love and goodwill. Psychic and healing energy is at an all time high. In September, when the Moon is full under Pegasus, it is also known as 'Rabbit Moon'. This morning I spotted two rabbits crossing the road near Delta Park, a white one and a black one. We also had to walk the dogs a longer way to avoid a swamp.

On Friday, 24th March, I went for a pedicure. Feet fall under this constellation.

On Saturday night, 25th March, I was pleasantly surprised when an ordinary meal at a Greek restaurant turned into a spectacular event. To celebrate Greece's independence day, Belly dancers graced the floor to amaze us with fire and sword dancing. A man walked around with a huge amount of beautifully colored roses for sale. Later 'Zorba the Greek' lured people onto the dance floor. Greek dancing, plate throwing and great excitement filled the evening that was meant to be a quiet dinner for two. What a pleasant and happy surprise under the happy feet of Pegasus!

The Celestial Mansion visited by the June full moon is that of Ophiuchus. This mansion used to be occupied by the Scorpion. However, the Scorpion fell out of the Zodiac belt and Ophiuchus stepped in.

Ophiuchus is also known as Asclepius, Master of healing, prophecy and truth. His symbol is the snake, representing healing and wisdom. He is also Imhotep: doctor, sage, high priest, scribe, visionary, astrologer and hereditary noble. Asclepius learned how to overcome aging and death by observing a serpent using healing herbs. To prevent humans from becoming immortal, Zeus killed Asclepius with a thunderbolt, but later placed him in the sky in honor of his good work. In other words Asclepius rose from the ashes of death and became immortal among the stars...the phoenix rising from the ashes.

This Celestial Mansion represents 'the baby in the basket' archetype. Moses, Perseus, Prince Phillip and others who were smuggled out of danger to safety, only to come back to reclaim their glory and shaming the enemy...the phoenix rising from the ashes.

In the minor arcana of the Tarot, he is the 9 of Wands. Although the warrior is wounded, he rises from his misfortune to fight yet another battle....phoenix rising from the ashes. The 9 of Wands (Ophiuchus / Antares) is also about karma and the past coming back to haunt us. The wounded healer must release the past in order to move forward.

In the Major Arcana, he is Temperance. Finding a balance between light and shadow. Bringing about transformation by blending two opposites. Water signifies emotions. Turning fear into faith and hatred into forgiveness. Blending what we learned from past hurts and mistakes to use it to our advantage in the future.

Transformation is one of its main themes. Change is inevitable, but transformation is by conscious choice and is normally fought for. This is a mansion for fighting fears and for standing up for what you believe in to bring about transformation.

When a planet moves through Ophiuchus it vibrates the energy of healing and transformation. We are given the opportunity to heal, to forgive, and to let go of the past in order to manifest positive change and healing. Social change is also possible, but like the 9 of wands, we have to fight for it.

This is also the full moon of the Pentecost. In Acts 2 verse 3 we read that the 'Holy Spirit' appeared in the form of flames, like the phoenix rising from the ashes. People received the gift of speaking in other languages to spread the message of forgiveness in order to be healed... the phoenix rising from the ashes.

We took our dogs for a walk in Delta Park, Johannesburg. Just before 6 am, we saw the most amazing shooting star. It shot so fast and so close I thought it was going to hit earth. It had 5 definite points and started breaking up as it went over the horizon. The most breath taking scene I have ever witnessed in my entire life. Someone asked on 'My Broadband' if others had seen it. It was also broadcasted on the radio during the day.

21 April 2014:
As I took my dogs out for a leak at 3 am, I saw the most amazingly clear Scorpio right above me in the sky. While gazing at it in awe, a meteor (shooting star) shot right through the hook part between the heart and the tail. I have never witnessed anything more beautiful. If you live in South Africa and you can bare the cold weather, step out in the early morning hours, especially on 15 May when it will peak, wait for Artemis to shoot you a star, and make that wish, it will surely come true.

Numbers vibrate energy that have a profound effect on our lives. Numbers vibrate our entire experience from the conception of the Universe out of chaos to the rhythm of our personal lives. Numbers vibrate in tune with the music of spheres and planets and are intrinsically linked with Astrology and Cosmic vibrations. Enneagram:

Geogrei Ivanovitch Gurdjieff (1877 - 1949), the Russian mystic and teacher, spend time in Tibet as a Buddist monk. As a result of his spiritual experience he brought us the Enneagram, a 9 pointed star used as a numerological device for helping people to understand profound truths about themselves and others. The Enneagram is used in psychology (psychometry) as a personality test. Numerologists use the Enneagram to guide their clients. Ennea is Greek for 9.

An adept numerologist, such as myself, will help you to analyze and find direction through the important numbers in your life. But as a general guideline there are three noteworthy numbers to look at:
